‘DAMN!’

DAMN! Kendrick Drops New Album

So Kendrick Lamar just stopped the whole world with his highly anticipated, unapologetic album DAMN – and all we can literally say is “DDDDDAAAAMMMMMNNNNN!” This 14-track collection features his leading song “HUMBLE” which quickly claimed the No. 2 spot on Billboard’s singles chart and No. 1 debut on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hip Songs Chart.

The music video holds the character of containing underlying subliminal messages and Kendrick had no problem with telling whack rappers to “be humble, sit down”. The video caught fire when it was released on YouTube on March 30th and continues to pick up steam.

Originally the album was supposed to drop on April 7th, but it dropped late. However, fans everywhere are rejoicing that it finally dropped – just in time for his headline at Coachella.

On the flip side, Spotify’s streaming service left a lot of folks hanging yesterday because even though Kendrick’s album was made available for streaming on Apple Music, it hadn’t released on Spotify yet. But now, everyone’s a happy camper.

We sense a high influx of Apple subscriptions and a Grammy!
