Flint Residents Launch Lawsuit
It’s been too long (roughly three years) since Flint, Michigan has been able to enjoy clean water.
Finally, over 1,700 residents have finally said, “Enough is enough!”
On Monday, those citizens decided to take on the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and launched a Class Action lawsuit demanding $722.4 million.
According to the complaint, the EPA is accused of “failing to follow several specific agency mandates and directives resulting in health and property damages”.
The EPA has yet to comment.
