Social Media Sanctions

“You get a ban, you get a ban, everybody gets a ban!”

*in our Oprah voice.

It seems as though every time a CEO speaks out to support (or not support) an action from Donald Trump, there are drastic actions that follow.

Next on social media’s hit list – Starbucks!

People are feeling some type of way because Starbucks CEO, Howard Schultz, pledged to hire refugees and the internet went into the ultimate uproar. What’s wrong with that, you ask?

Those frenzied followers feel that those jobs should go to veterans; insinuating that American companies should take care of the American people first.  So, they initiated a boycott.

It seems as though Schultz’s meaningful gesture (or speculated political move) just backfired. What do YOU think?

Forget the tea, grab a latte! (If, of course, you’re still supporting Starbucks)
