Social Media Switch-Up!

It is NOT a game on Inauguration Day!

Inquiring minds are probably wondering, “What happens to a President’s social media accounts once he leaves office?

That’s actually a great question, in which we’ve uncovered the answers to.

The White House has a “digital transition” plan that states that the incoming administration must start with a clean slate.

Being that President Obama was the first President to have a Twitter, Facebook live, Snapchat filter and YouTube forum, this plan was put into plan to support that.

President Obama’s last tweet at 9:13 AM on Inauguration Day was, “I’m still asking you to believe – not in my ability to bring about change, but in yours. I believe in change because I believe in you.

With so much love on social media, there were still bitter followers that vowed to pretty much destroy the number of followers that were on the account.
