#ObamaFarewell Prompts Mixed Emotions!

As the eve of the Inauguration slowly but surely passes us by, one thing is clear. The nation seems to now be experiencing a mixed pot of emotions.

Much of the country is ecstatically looking forward to President-elect Donald Trump taking office tomorrow, while the others are either experiencing “buyer’s remorse” or are not recognizing Trump as their President AT ALL, coining the phrase #NotMyPresident.

However, to make light of the conflicting emotions, the hashtag #MyPresidentIsBlack began trending (again) on Twitter today and folks have a lot to say.

For those who are seemingly in mourning, they have turned to the Barack Obama Foundation, who is allowing them to stay updated on President Obama’s activity after his Presidency.

Will 2017 feel like the biggest “L” for the U.S as Donald Trump transitions into power? Only time will tell.
