Did Phylicia Rashad Join Marvel?

What happens when you’re super excited about a new role and you start to spill the “deets” in an interview?

Sometimes you say TOO much!

This is exactly what happened when actor Sterling K. Brown interviewed with “The Undefeated” regarding joining Marvel’s “Black Panther Movie”.

The original quote stated, “I just worked with Chad [Boseman] on a film called Marshall, about Thurgood Marshall. He’s such a talented human being and a deep soul… He’s the perfect personality to fully inhabit T’Challa. So, to rejoin him, and to work with Academy Award winners… to be with Michael B. Jordan after the incredible work he’s done in Creed. Danai Gurira, Phylicia Rashad, Forest Whitaker—like, it’s embarrassing. I’m good at what I do—I don’t try to do any sort of false modesty but, ‘Wow! I get to be with all of you people!?!

It’s too late to go back and review the interview now, the excerpt that included her name has been deleted.

So, was this just a slip of the tongue or will she really be joining the cast?

We’ll keep our eye on this one.
