“I Stand With Kaepernick”

“I Stand With Kaepernick”

Over the weekend a lot of celebrities have come out to extend their support to 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick amid his National Anthem protest; including “Blackish” star Anthony Anderson, Seattle Reign National Women’s Soccer League player, Megan Rapinoe, and even President Obama!

I think he kcares about some real legitimate issues that have to be talked about,” President Obama said.

Megan Rapinoe even took a knee during the National Anthem before her soccer match against the Chicago Red Stars. “It’s important to have white people stand in support people of color on this. We don’t need to be the leading voice, of course, but standing in support of them is something that’s really powerful,” she told the Huffington Post.

According to TMZ, “Blackish” star Anthony Anderson supports the constitutional right of freedom of speech.  Which is what Kaepernick is exercising.

It will be interesting to see how many other celebrities take stand (or knee).
