ESPN Commentator, John Saunders, Passes Away…

The sports world is mourning the loss of one of its most cherished sports announcers, John Saunders, who died at age 61.

Saunders was a long-time veteran of the ESPN Network.

Over the last 30 years, he utilized his talents to cover basketball, NHL and even college football. “John was an extraordinary talent and his friendly, informative style has been a warm welcome to sports fans for decades,” John Skipper, ESPN President told in an official statement. John joined the network in 1986 beginning as an anchor for Sports Center.
