Felony Charges Filed Against 6 More Employees in Flint Water Scandal!
Flint, Michigan’s Attorney General, Bill Schuette, announced that six more Michigan Department of Environmental Quality employees will now be facing felony and misdemeanor charges for their involvement with Flint’s water contamination scandal.
All named employees are also accused of trying to cover up information. “In essence, these individuals concealed the truth. They were criminally wrong to do so, and the victims are real people. [They are] families who have been lied to by government officials, and treated as if they don’t count. Well, they do count.” Schulette’s statement reads.
