Flint, Michigan STILL Without Clean Water

Flint, Michigan STILL Without Clean Water:

Who Holds The Blame?

So while the country is debating over racial issues, Flint, MI STILL doesn’t have clean water!

It’s been over a year since the world became aware of the toxic water quality that was affecting Flint and its residents. In April 2014, Flint officials decided not to treat their water with anti-corrosive chemicals once they switched from utilizing water from Lake Huron to Flint River in order to cut costs. This caused thousands of people to have toxic tap water, thus making them sick!

The lack of concern for the community sparked outrage from celebrities such as filmmaker Michael Moore, Cher, and B.O.B – calling for the resignation of Governor Snyder. Three engineers have been brought up on charges, but it’s interesting that Flint’s water issue still hasn’t been resolved!

People are sick and a few have died at the negligence of top officials!

The governor made sure that General Motors had access to clean water in order to protect their cars. How much longer do Flint residents have to wait?
