This is the year that Jackie Kennedy would have been proud of. From matching tops and bottoms, there is nothing more perfect and precise than a great-paired outfit; just think of the Chanel’s on “Scream Queens.” From loud mouth prints to sophisticated fashion, Milan isn’t the fashion capital of the world for nothing.
What was great about this week was the fact that most of these outfits are “Ready to Wear,” for most occasions. They’re reasonable, sensitive, fashionable, and ultimately chic. That’s the most important thing when it comes to the runway. Most runway fashions are not ideal for any woman on the street. However, this year, the styles were just drastic enough to be worn outside of the runway.
Max Mara created wearable pantsuits and patriotic sweaters, while Prada added to workplace chic with striped blazers and capes.
